We really don’t know what goes on in our dogs’ minds whenever we leave them home alone whenever we go out. And, whenever we come back home, our dogs will always act really excited like they haven’t seen us for a long time. Even when I go out for a quick drive to the store to buy something, my dog would always greet me like I’ve been away for years.
I always wondered how my dog would react if I’ve been away for a week or even a month. A pit bull named Roxy was left home alone by her dad for a little too long. Roxy’s reaction when her dad came back home was adorable. Roxy was excited, but she was also giving her dad a little scolding.
As soon as Roxy’s dad arrived, Roxy started bugging him about being gone too long. When Roxy’s dad came home, he saw Roxy pacing the living room. Roxy’s dad eventually asked if she missed him. Roxy responded with a very loud woo-woos. However, Roxy did miss her dad, and her tail wag gives it away.
Roxy’s dad and Roxy had a little back and forth, and Roxy presumably tells her dad that she had a horrible time being left alone in the house longer than usual. Roxy was also presumably worried sick about her dad for taking too long to get home. Roxy is definitely a daddy’s girl and would never want to be apart from her dad longer than usual.
After Roxy said what needed to be said and was satisfied that her dad understood her, she turned around and continued playing with her bone. Roxy’s dad got the message, and he now knows that Roxy should never be left home alone for too long. Here’s a video showing Roxy’s adorable reaction when her dad came home a few hours late.
