Everybody was so confused with the breed of the tiny puppy with a large head. Although he was considerably small, his heart was big.
There was this puppy that had arrived at the shelter that caught everybody’s attention. He was no ordinary dog; he had stubby little legs, and his head was half the size of his body.
Lauren Gallagher, Controller at Human Society, immediately dubbed the puppy as Bighead. Every person that saw the tiny pup wanted to hold and cuddle him close.
The dog’s look didn’t tell a specific breed, so everyone was just guessing before Lauren took the initiative to a DNA test. It turned out; Biggie had six breeds: Shar-pei, Boxer, Border Collie, Staffordshire Terrier, Lhasa Apso, Mixed Sporting Dog.
Since Lauren did a lot of foster care, she wanted to take the puppy home and foster him. Her daughters adored the cute puppy and wanted to keep him. It took a while for Lauren’s husband to agree, but he eventually gave in.
Biggie had found his place in the family. He would spend his days playing with Lauren’s daughters and her house dogs.
Whenever Lauren brought in the foster puppies, Biggie would be so gentle with them. He would help them get ready for their forever home.
Biggie’s favorite job was working at the shelter. Whenever Lauren would have the car parked, the dog would get all excited, knowing they were already there.
At the front desk, Biggie would grin widely at the potential adopters that entered the shelter. They would all smile back at him for greeting them and loved to pet the little pup.
Biggie may be a little puppy, but he has captured the hearts of many. He is a blessing to his family, and they are forever grateful to have him.
