Jamie Hulit is a dedicated dog lover. She lives in Texas, but she makes it a point to be available at all times to help dogs. The woman founded an organization now known as the Dog Rescue World. The group is spread in different parts of the United States to save dogs from an abusive environment.
While she may be physically apart from some of her colleagues, Jamie makes sure that she attends to the needs of the organization she belongs to. For the longest time, she travels from one state to another to do her function as an advocate.
Recently, Jamie decided to adopt a neglected pooch from Virginia. The pooch got dumped by his former owners because of her deformed face. The volunteers from the group learned that the previous family of the dog saw the pooch as a curse. Add to this rather insulting stance is the belief that the pooch gives bad luck to the family.
The local chapter in Virginia immediately took action and rescued the pooch. They then informed Jamie about this development. The story of Princess the dog affected and touched the heart off Jamie. This forced the woman to travel to Virginia to have a glimpse of the pooch.
When she arrived in Virginia to meet the pooch, Jamie and the dog had an instant connection. It is as if they have known each other for a long while now. According to Jamie, she was delighted at the dog’s rather welcoming attitude.
This prodded her to adopt the pooch for good. The decision, though, was a well-thought one, Jamie argued. For her, the mere fact that the dog liked her is an indication that she should take care of Princess. She told the volunteers from the local group of her decision to adopt Princess, and the volunteers were pleased with this pronouncement.
